Benchmark Results: Far Cry 2
Far Cry 2 likes CPU clock speed, but appears to have a clock-for-clock preference for AMD hardware. Differences this small point towards the graphics card as the biggest game-performance limitation, although all resolutions do play smoothly.
With AA enabled at 2560x1600, the single Radeon HD 5850 bottlenecks the system to our lowest average for acceptable playability at 40 FPS. CPU performance is barely a factor.
