Game-Off: Seven Sub-$150 Processors Compared
Today, we're putting the newest and fastest sub-$150 processors against each other in a gaming competition to see which models offer the best bang for your buck. Will it be Intel's Core i3, its Clarkdale-based Pentium, or AMD's Athlon and Phenom II CPUs?
Benchmark Results: World In Conflict
World in Conflict continues the trend, although this CPU-intensive real-time strategy title (RTS) pushes the minimum frame rates far lower than the other game titles we've seen thus far.
While the Athlon II X3 445 does a good job at the lower end of the spectrum, the Core i3 and Phenom II CPUs look like better options in this CPU-heavy title, and might be better options for the RTS genre in general.
