Event: Gigabyte's Global Overclocking Finals

The Battleground, Continued

A Layout Of The Battleground, Continued

Next to Gigabyte’s display gallery there was a P45 motherboard dynamic demo show. It included an AMD CrossFire platform comprised of the GA-EP45T-EXTREME with two GV-R487-1GH-B, and a demo platform consisting of the GA-EP45-UD3P with the GV-R4850OC-1GH. The GA-EP45T-EXTREME is the designated game hardware.

Partner Products

Visitors could glimpse the latest products from ViewSonic, Western Digital and Corsair, which worked out well since Corsair’s DDR3-1800 memory modules and WD VelociRaptor hard disks were designated competition hardware. Products from Intel and AMD were tied into related products introduced by Gigabyte.

Among the newly-introduced Intel P45 motherboards like the GA-EP45-UD3P, we also noticed Intel’s soon-to-be-released X58 motherboard : the model number is GA-EX58-UD4P. Due to NDA restrictions, though, performance was not demonstrated.

Sorry for the disrespect...not. I like GA, earlier this would have been worth more. Now I want to see the i7, even though I know it's a server chip.

More chicks, sorry I'm a pig.

Just noticed, all the mentions of the Gigabyte boards on display are wrong concerning the GA-P45-UD3 board. You labeled it as a GA-P45-UD3P, which it is not because it has only 1 PCIe 2.0 slot.

    There are 3 models
    GA-P45-UD3 (shown)
    GA-P45-UD3R (different chipset cooler)
    GA-P45-UD3P (2 pcie 2.0)
