Write Transfer Performance
Once again Seagate comes out best in our three drive comparison, with a respectable score of 63.5 MB/s; it places second overall, behind only the Western Digital Raptor-X / WD1500. Surprisingly, anything involving file write/read seems to be near the upper end and between the Western Digital Raptor 150 MB and the Seagate giant. This is very impressive performance at 750 GB.
Check out our Interactive Hard Drive Charts to compare the new 750 and 500 GB drives with all other hard drives tested to date!
