8x Anisotropic Filtering
Here, we tested the speed of anisotropic filtering. The two manufacturers use different optimizations, so a direct comparison is difficult. The quality tests at the beginning of the article show ATi at an advantage, though.
UT 2003: 8x Aniso Quality
Settings: NVIDIA - Balanced; ATi - Quality.



The situation is similar to that with FSAA. The FX 5600 Ultra defeats the Radeon 9500 board, but loses to the 9500 PRO.
