LCD panel makers to face tough Q2

published With prices for 32- and 37" panels falling faster than expected and inventory levels piling up higher than is seasonally expected, several panel makers and market analysts have become more bearish about the LCD panel market this quarter.
Henry Wang, CEO of WitsView Technology, said although demand for TVs will remain strong next quarter, orders will be more difficult to grab, as panel makers will ramp up capacity at their 5.5-generation (5.5G) and 6G plants, he indicated.
