Nvidia offers DVD decoder
Nvidia today announced its own DVD playback software which is targeted to work in conjunction with Microsoft's Windows media Player and the Windows Media Center Edition. According to the company, the software is first to receive the "Designed for Media Center Edition" in its segment.
The application supports any third party software application based upon Microsoft DirectShow, enables "advanced" de-interlacing and supports Windows Mobile-based Portable Media Centers allowing end users to transcode MPEG-2 content into Windows Media Video 9.
The software is priced at $20 and can be purchased via Nvidia's website .
