Athlon beats Pentium III even at the same clock frequency in this test, so that Athlon 1200 is able to look particularly good. Duron suffers quite a bit from its reduced L2-cache.
The Linux community is very aware of the fact that with Athlon you get a lot more processing power for your hard earned money than with Pentium III.
