Ouch, even the much lower priced Viper II spanks the MAXX in this test. I know S3 has done a very good job at optimizing their drivers so maybe ATI can work some of the same magic. We'll see how things progress in higher colors and resolutions.
Switching the video mode to higher quality 32-bit color didn't change things much other than the SDR GeForce taking a bit of a hit.
