Shuttle goes big with a tower computer - Slideshow
Las Vegas (NV) - Shuttle is known for making small form factor computers, but the City of Industry-based computer company is now developing a tower-sized machine. Company officials showed off a red and black paneled case that used much of the same air guide and heat dissipation technology as the SFF Shuttle computers.

Multiple air vents and fans on the side, top and back feed cool air to the components. The case also has a power supply with air vents to shoot out air to the side. A plastic tube then carries the air out the side of the case. Shuttle officials say these extreme methods will be needed as graphics cards keep getting hotter.
Shuttle didn't say when the tower will hit commercial production and there isn't even an official name for the chassis.
