GeForce3 Under Attack: ATi's Radeon 8500 Previewed
Driver Screen Shots
There is not too much to say about the driver. Here are the shots:
The display tab allows you to choose your two display devices.
This one is certainly known from other ATi cards, the color tab.
The OpenGL tab allows the usual stuff. VSYNC is disabled by default and you can choose between no, 2-sample or 4-sample anti-aliasing for OpenGL-games. Our board would not function properly once FSAA was enabled under OpenGL.
Under Direct3D VSYNC is actually enabled by default and you can see the 'SmoothVision'-slider for ATi's FSAA-solution. Unfortunately this feature is not working properly with A12-samples.
This tab doesn't do much, but I added it for completeness.
