Sennheiser PC150 Headset
Sennheiser PC150 Headset
Manufacturer: Sennheiser
Price: $69.99
Of all the headsets we've reviewed in this feature, the PC150 is the blandest. It is not the cheapest and the most portable and it doesn't have any special features to chat about. The microphone is also definitely sub par.
Of course, apart from the sub-par microphone, that's not altogether inconsolable - the Sherman might have been a boring tank compared to the Tiger, but it won the war. By the same token a "boring" set of headphones may not have many great and dazzling extra features, but it does the job it's supposed to do.
The headset is comfortable enough to wear though the shape of the earphones does seem rather odd at first as they sit up on the ears rather than folding around them or pressing in close as other headsets tend to do. One quickly gets used to it, however, and the headset is comfortable to wear and unobtrusive, even over long hauls.
