Furthermore, we like the software that is included a lot. It impressed us as less flippant and more colorful than the products from the competition. The overclocking options don't go as far as those from the competition. This feature is indeed a must in the Premium desktop segment, but it seems to be considered at least partly cosmetic at Intel.
The roughly 8" (20 cm) floppy cable is unusually short. After questioning Intel, the company said it reacted to customer requests to reduce the cable clutter inside the housing. In reality, it is often the case that only a couple of inches is enough to connect the floppy drive to the controller. And if not, as a rule, the floppy drive can be simply removed without replacement these days.
