Preview: ATi Radeon 9100IGP (RS300) for Pentium 4

Preview Benchmarks

One conclusion that we can draw for all graphics benchmarks is that ATi leads in all of the graphics categories. Here, we show only those benchmarks in which Intel Extreme Graphics 2 functions at all. ATi can already chalk up marks for providing high game compatibility. This is made possible through the pixel shader V1.4, which Intel is unable to offer. The remaining weakness is that DX 9 games do not run with PS2.0.

For this test, a Pentium 4 HT 3.06 GHz and 512 MB Dual Channel DDR system memory was used on both test platforms.
