RAID 0 I/O Performance
The Nvidia chipsets have not been optimized for server-type applications with deep command queues. Performance of the nForce 790i SLI chipset doesn’t increase any more once four pending commands are reached, while Intel’s ICH8 and ICH9 continue to deliver increased I/O operations per second.
