The famous Crysis, at 1680x1050, points up the closeness of the various cards performance-wise, if you exclude the GeForce GTX 200 and Radeon HD 3870. Under those circumstances, the GTX + had the performance edge it needed (9%) to move ahead of the 4850. On the other hand, enabling antialiasing seemed to favor the Radeons once again, with the 4850 showing performance that was 39% better than the 9800 GTX +. With the other settings, only at 1920x1200 was the game playable, provided we kept expectations low, and only in certain lightweight scenes. At that resolution, the two cards posted the same performance – 16% below that of the GTX 260.
