Bundled Software
Though lacking the ATI Multimedia Center or the applicable ATI decoder, Diamond did not neglect multimedia content, and instead bundled several freeware applications. The FreeDVD 1.0 decoder was sufficient for both Windows Media Player and two included players, DSPlayer and MaXimus DVD.
DSPlayer v0.59.5 alpha (above) worked fairly well in spite of its sparse interface and alpha status. MaXimus DVD 1.2 (below) crashed gracefully in spite of its robust features.
Other bundled applications include 3D Mark 2003 (free version), Final Reality D3D benchmark (free), VulpineGL benchmark (free) and WCPUID (free).
