Kingmax Digital to ramp up microSD card capacity
Kingmax Digital, an affiliate of memory solution provider Kingmax Semiconductor, aims to ramp up production capacity of microSD memory cards to six million units in the second quarter of 2006 to meet increasing demand from handset vendors, according to company sources.
The planned capacity ramp will be realized due to strong support from its associated company Kingpak Technology, which uses its patented PIP (product in package) technology to package microSD cards for Kingmax Digital, the source noted.
