TV card makers look to the HD multimedia market

The release of Windows Vista has turned on the heat for high definition (HD) in the PC multimedia market, and TV card makers such as Avermedia and Leadtek have spotted the opportunity and started to launch new products to catch the trend. PCs will slowly replace the TV in the consumer electronics market in the future, and TV cards will assist to enhance the multimedia features of the PC, believe sources from Taiwan-based TV card makers.
