Dell has announced a number of new monitors – three to be precise. These monitors are all part of its UltraSharp series of monitors, and are thus built to provide excellent image quality, among other features typically found on UltraSharp monitors. Different on this number of monitors though, is that they feature a "Z" in the name and that they are oriented more towards multimedia with their built-in webcam and speakers. Presumably, there is also a microphone present.
The monitors in question are the UZ2215H, the UZ2315H, and the UZ2715H. All three monitors are Full HD monitors, including the 27" model. They are all built with IPS panels that feature 8 ms G2G response times along with static contrast ratios of 1000:1. The two larger models have a brightness of 300 cd/m2, while the smallest 21.5" model has a brightness of 250 cd/m2.
Connectivity is taken care of by dual HDMI, VGA, and DisplayPort, along with a headphone jack. Also built-in is a 2-port USB 3.0 hub.
The 23" UZ2315H comes with a height-adjusting stand, while the 21.5" UZ2215H and the 27" UZ2715H don't. Their stands only support swiveling.
Pricing for the UZ2215H is listed on the UK Dell site as £186.00, while the US prices for the UZ2315H and the UZ2715H are listed as $299.99 and $449.99, respectively.
