Need For Speed CARBON
At medium detail and 1024x768, Need for Speed Carbon is CPU bottlenecked. Once again, all the new cards put in an identical showing, and the 9700 PRO delivers playable, if not terribly fast, performance.
At high detail, 1280x1024 and 4xaa, the X1950 PROs wake up and leave the competition in the dust. It looks like we've found another title, in addition to PREY, that is more video card limited than it is CPU limited.
