Benchmark Results: World In Conflict
The GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 performs on par with AMD’s Radeon HD 4870 1 GB, and the Radeon HD 4890 trumps the pair by a little less than 10% at 1680x1050 and 1920x1200. At 2560x1600, the 4890 holds a tenuous lead over Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 260. The two lower resolutions also favor the GeForce GTX 285 over AMD’s flagship Radeon HD 4870 X2.
The Radeon HD 4890 matches pace with Nvidia’s GTX 260 here, the 1 GB HD 4870 trailing behind (and the 512 MB model keeping up with the 1 GB card, except at 2560x1600).
