Fall Extreme Gamer System Shootout Part 5: Falcon Northwest Mach V

Conclusion

As we have communicated in the other reviews thus far, there is a happy medium between purchasing a new system based on price or performance. The Mach V is significantly more expensive than any of the other systems but its customer service is superior. The other vendors whose systems we've tested did not come close to matching the level of service that Falcon offers.

All American has a similar customer service approach compared to that of Falcon's, which is very technical and hands-on, but lacks the high-end service if there is a problem with the system two to three years down the road. Alienware has decent customer support but it still falls behind compared to the competition - while we have heard that there are some changes afoot at the Fla.-based firm. We have also heard that All American is looking to extend an option for stellar for people who want the complete worry-free purchase and service.

Thus far you have seen five high-end systems in this review series. So which one do you choose? A more pertinent question is: how much are you willing to spend? How much do you care about the neatness and care that went into building your system? Do you want a one of a kind system or something that is just fast? These are all entirely personal questions but you have to make the choice.

Even with problems similar to those posed by the system from Alienware, the Falcon Mach V is clearly a spectacular machine. This being our second system from Kelt Reeves and his guy at Falcon Northwest, we know that consumers who buy a system from Falcon will not be disappointed.
