Software Bundle
The MSI RX800PRO-TD256's software bundle is very extensive. In addition to several graphics-intensive applications, MSI also includes a number of attractive games.
Adobe Photoshop Album 1.0 Starter Edition (current version: 2.0)
This program lets you manage photos as well as audio and video files. It is limited to 250 files and one catalogue, though. If your collection is more extensive, you have to buy the full version.
3D-Album LE 2.03 (LE for limited Edition; current version: 3)
A program that lets you present pictures/photos in several different ways.
WinDVD Creator Plus: (current version: WinDVD Creator 2)
A DVD authoring software for content from a PVR/VCR or a camcorder.
Intervideo WinDVD 4 - 5.1 channel (current version: WinDVD 6)
A program that lets you play DVDs and other video formats, such as SVCDs.
MSI Media Center II
Consists of WinDVDX 4.0 and WinDVRX 3.0 (current version: 5.0 )
Unfortunately, we encountered an error during installation.
MSI's Media Center software did not recognize our test sample as an MSI product.
VirtualDrive 7.0 (current version: 9.0)
A program to create CD/DVD images. Several images can be mounted simultaneously as virtual drives.

A program to create a backup image of the hard drive.

Showshifter
A trial version of a media center software.
Unfortunately, only a few of these many programs are actually of any use to the majority of users. Stripped down and outdated, the versions are only of limited use and leave the impression that the user is supposed to be tempted into buying the full versions. Ironically, the only program that gave us any trouble during our test was MSI's own Media Center II suite, which refused to recognize the RX800 as an MSI product and roundly refused to launch.
The included gaming bundle is much more enjoyable, comprising three current and worthwhile games by publisher Ubisoft which some gamers may not yet have picked up. These are Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time , Uru Ages Beyond Myst and XIII . The Japanese bundle comes with Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow instead of Prince of Persia.
To round the bundle off, MSI also includes a CD with 14 game demos. Unfortunately, none of the games are new.
