DiamondMax Plus 9 250 GB (6Y250M0): Robust But Quiet

The 250 GB version of the DiamondMax Plus 9 includes minor performance refinements introduced after the 80 GB model, but in most ways, the two drives are quite alike. Due to the higher number of drive platters in this model - three instead of one - the 250 GB version is slightly louder. But its noise level is not bothersome, because this drive also uses fluid dynamic bearings.
