DOOM III - Medium Quality
The GeForceFX 5800 Ultra and 5900 Ultra dominate the field in medium quality, although the performance gap between the two is surprisingly slim. The Radeon 9700 PRO trails the 9800s by a wider margin, though. We were surprised by the good performance offered by the FX 5600, while the Radeon 9600 made a rather disappointing showing. Even the Ti4200 was faster than the Radeon 9600, albeit admittedly only with decreased detail quality. The frame rates of the FX 5200 and Radeon 9000 were so low as to verge on the unplayable.
