Optical Mice: Microsoft and Logitech

Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0

This is the entry-level wireless mouse. With its new scroll button and desktop orientation, it would be a pity not to use it: it is faster and, as we said before, it saves on power. These mice all come in a wide range of dual color schemes. It all depends on your taste, but it's a good idea for matching the colors in your office. There are four combinations: blue/translucent, red/translucent, steel blue/black and blue checks/black.

The mouse is ambidextrous but the shape is ergonomic. Though bulky, it is very comfortable. The fingertips each find their own space and the palm rests comfortably, making it excellent to manipulate. This is quite the most ergonomically designed of all the ambidextrous mice. Both buttons are in exactly the right position for the fingers and their click is a marvel of softness and precision. We have already told you all about the new scroll button which is the same on all the new Microsoft models.

Installation follows the usual pattern of driver then mouse. The mouse is detected immediately and never failed in our tests.
