The top four motherboards in Call of Duty 2 include the 680i SLI reference board, which indicates just how well the 650i SLI performs by comparison. On the other end, the ECS NF650iSLIT-A shows a drastic performance difference because its PCI-Express x16 slot is always locked into x8 mode.

The 680i SLI reference board falls mid-pack in F.E.A.R. against the 650i SLI, with the modified-chipset P5N32-E SLI Plus taking a slight lead over everyone.

650i SLI boards again prove their worth in Quake 4. Its important to remember that every board except the NF650iSLIT-A is set to x16 pathway mode, and all but the P5N32-E SLI Plus must be forced to x8 mode in order to support any SLI configuration.
