Now we come to an interesting part of this article. Sysmark actually uses several application at the same time. The P4 with Hyper-Threading should now play what it's got up its sleeve. Does it? Look for yourself.
The Athlon XP 2800+ clearly trails the Pentium 4/ 2800 in a number of areas. A comment on all AMD Athlon XP CPUs: lack of optimization in AMD's processors causes them to trail the Intel models somewhat. In Office performance, however, the XP 2800+ is very close to the P4/ 2666.
