Benchmark Results: Audio And Video Encoding
A small frequency difference leads to a noticeable increase in iTunes performance for the previous build. We’re not about to argue with a benchmark when the underlying technology is the same.
Minimal differences between our two builds in Lame encoding performance come far closer to our expectations.
Performance differences in video encoding are negligible, in spite of the small variance in overclocking.
