Optical Mice: Microsoft and Logitech

Logitech Cordless Click! Optical Mouse

You just take the same mouse and remove the wire, so I'll be brief on the subject. Logitech's Fast RF technology ensures the response time is the same as for a wired mouse, since you get 125 Hz, the maximum rate for the USB. The two AA batteries let it work from two to three months depending on how it's used. Connection is invariably instant and automatic, though it does have "Connect" buttons in case detection is not automatic when the batteries are changed. We found no problem of interference.

It is a bit heavier due to the batteries but this does not detract from the ergonomics. The silver and bluish metallic color is very attractive and makes this mouse look very chic for the reasonable price of $40 (50 Euros). It is a really good way to step into wireless without losing any response. We can recommend this mouse for all uses including fast action games.
