The color fidelity was good in native mode. But you can forget the 6500K mode you see in the OSD menu, because it's actually calibrated to 7300K. A mere gnat's eyelash...

The black level is in the same ball park as on the Acer AL2032W. On the other hand, the brightness is a little stronger. That will make this unit better suited to screening DVDs, but as always, office applications will suffer.
The monitor had fairly stable contrast - one positive point.
This monitor's color gamut was a little more extended that that of the Acer AL2032W. The palette of colors was richer on the Philips 200W6.
