3DMark 2000/2001 At 1280x1024
The following charts display frame rates obtained on an Athlon 1200 system and then the same set on a Pentium 4 1500 platform. The same settings are applied in every category. In this section, we tested with a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. Whether you use the 2000 or the 2001 version, 3DMark is a synthetic benchmark. Real performance situations are not always simulated during synthetic tests. The following results should thus be taken with a grain or two of salt. They are only intended to supplement the game tests.
