Computex attracts more buyers from emerging markets

published A total of 30,200 overseas visitors attended Computex Taipei 2006, up 7.8% from the number recorded last year, but the number of visitors from emerging markets such as China, India and Thailand increased significantly, according to event organizer the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). Visitors from the US, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore were the top five visitor regions, while China, India and Thailand ranked number six, nine and 10 respectively, the organizer said.
