Elegant design: Zalman's 7700 series copper cooler
We introduced Zalman's cooler in article Zalman CNPS7700: The New Giant of Coolers , and compared it with its precursor, model CNPS7000. Today it faces the other challengers.
The cooler has an enormous girth of 5.5" (140 mm.) With a height of 2.6" (67mm) however, the cooler is quite small compared to the other coolers in the test.
The CNPS7700 is available in two models: the CNPS7700-Cu is an all-copper cooler, while the CNPS7700-AlCu is roughly half copper and half aluminum.
The bargain model: A combination of copper and aluminum
All modern CPU sockets are supported by the cooler, except Socket A. Supported sockets:

The fan regulator "Fanmate 2" allows you to control the speed of the cooler by freely adjusting the voltage from 5 to 10.6 V. If desired, the fan regulator can be bypassed so the fan rotates at full speed all the time. An 30" (80 cm) connecting lead ensures that the positioning of the fan control is flexible. Zalman includes two-sided tape for attaching the automatic control panel.
