LilliComputers - Crystal Clear AC-2004
LilliComputers sent us the Crystal Clear AC-2004. This case is really intended for demonstration uses, but we gave it a look to see what other possibilities might be on the horizon for it.
LilliComputers sent us their Crystal Clear AC-2004 computer case. If this is the first time that you have seen one of these acrylic "see-all-the-way-through" cases, it might seem to be one of the best concepts for a unique-looking case yet.
The truth is that this style of clear acrylic cases has been around for some time. Normally, they are popular for demo or trade show purposes where you want people to see what it is inside the case. The concept is a good one for a trade show, demo, in-store promotional use, or just to sit on your desk to look at, but it does have a few catches.

A look from the side of the AC-2004.
The AC-2004 is made of acrylic and, in the case of our sample unit, has a green tint to it. This is pleasing to the eye, and presents some interesting possibilities for lighting the case. Acrylic isn't light when used in a case like this, but it is pretty close in weight to most steel mid-tower cases.
