Blue LEDs With Red And Green Phosphors May Become Mainstream For TV-use BLUs In 2009
With costs for LED backlights using a mix of red, green and blue LEDs remaining high, LED industry players are considering using a combination of blue LEDs with red and green phosphors for TV-use backlights. Such designs may become popular in 2009.
