Brief Conclusion
Once again, Shuttle shows that success can be planned. The XPC SB81P earns a special mention, because at only 41 dB(A), it is the quietest barebone in the test field. Shuttle thought of everything, except the DVI and parallel interface. However, they can be added later. The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (GMA) onboard graphics of the i915G chipset is not exactly spectacular. Adding a graphics card for the new PCI Express interface can expand its capabilities. Instead, the onboard sound is state of the art and even 7.1 Surround-compatible.
