Japan-based vendors of digital cameras increasingly are adopting LCD panels in sizes of 2.5-2.7" in place of 2.7-3.0" for their entry-level slim models to minimize production costs to reduce prices in order to maintain global market shares, according to industry sources in Taiwan.The mainstream screen sizes of digital cameras shifted from 2.5-2.7" in 2007 to 2.7-3.0" currently, the sources indicated.
