VIDEO: Sneak Peek at Win 7 Family Guy Show

Whether you hate love or really hate hate, Microsoft and FOX One's announcement that the two will collaborate on a 30-minute segment, called Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, is 100 percent true.

Now that we've come to terms with it, what do we know so far? The segment is scheduled to air on November 8. We also know that there will be no commercials, just half an hour of comedy created by Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein (the voice of Lois) and Windows advertising agencies Universal McCann and Crispin, Porter + Bogusky. However, if this sneak peek is anything to go by, it's going to be, uhm, not very interesting. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Will you be watching on November 8? Let us know in the comments below!

This is going to be so lame... Microsoft stop advertising on our TV shows. That little asian girl is annoying enough by herself.

Ok so they are just going to re-dub Family Guy clips with Pro-Microsoft Windows 7 advertisement garbage? Seth MacFarlane, how much did they pay you to sell your soul? A warning note, if this show is the crap that the little clip above is, I am going to start boycotting Seth's programs, and watch nothing but the Simpsons on Sunday night (even that is hanging by a very thin thread thanks to last nights disappointing Halloween special).

lol I wouldn't equate this advertisement to Seth selling his soul. He's quite a stand up guy. Maybe go youtube some of his speeches, he seems to really stand up for what he believes in. This episode/commercial will probably be pretty lame and I've already purchased Win 7 so this won't sway me, as I've already made my choice, and I doubt it will sway anyone who have decided to keep using XP or Vista.

because the simpsons is so much better...

i'd rather watch a show from this decade, thanks. not a show in it's umpteenth season that's been out of ideas since season 8. besides, Seth is what all family guy fans made him. We bought the DVDs that brought the show back, so of course he cares about getting paid. you would too. so stop complaining about how he "Sold His Soul", when you'd probably take that advertising money yourself. Microsoft has every damn right to advertise to their target market. Apple does the same thing. Look, welcome to the year 2009. nice to have you here. if you don't like ads, don't watch any form of digital media, because you can't avoid em. go to the movies? ads. torrent a movie? probably get an ad from the host site, or a readme file with one. buy a DVD? guess what? ads. Go Turn on the Telly? ADS. you could just, oh idk, ignore them. that's what i do. if the sound annoys you, maybe try mute? or cover your ears?

stop whining because big bad M$ is adverting on "your" shows. they aren't "Yours" they're the Creator's shows. and when they're willing to share them, you don't sit there and whine about it, because if it bothered you that much, you wouldn't be watching. Appreciate all the laughs Family Guy has given you, and stop expecting them to do every gag that you think is funny over and over again for your own amusement.

if you don't like MS7 adverts, skip that episode. but me? i'll probably be catching it at midnight after i get off work.

WTF is wrong with you? NEVER GIVE UP YOUR FREEDOMS. This is 2009 blah blah blah that has nothing to do with it. Advertising while I'm trying to watch a TV show is like a splinter in my side.

Uh-oh... I think I hear Seths Family guy going down the tubes. The Cleavland show was already bad... dont ruin Family guy now.

Hopefully this episode is better then that sneak peek. otherwise I'm disappointed.

WTF is wrong with me? you're the one with a slipping grasp of reality.

allow me to reiterate exactly what the point of my argument is in simple terms.

if you watch tv, you're going to see advertisements. the end. stop whining.

and wtf does freedom have to do with this?? this IS 2009, and look what our "freedom" has gotten us. nice recession, huh? boy i sure do love living in a country that is hated worldwide. i wouldn't mind leaving, but maybe this new "president" of ours will eventually get off the tv and internet, and get on with running this country properly.

inb4 "America! love it or Leave it!" morons. & "Obama is the best thing to ever happen to this country" idiots

now, back to being on topic.
you are complaining about ads on Family Guy. just now? like we never see any other ads for other things on the show? side gags alone show off a lot of ads, that Jack's Joke Shop ad is on once in a while, why don't those make you mad? "Thanks, Geritol" another ad. TiVo? another ad, and a major plot point in the Stewie Griffin Story. Jack Daniels is featured occasionally. these are ADVERTISEMENTS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS. do they offend you as much as Microsoft's? or is it because the gag isn't funny? from your perspective, it isn't. that's your opinion. i happen to share that opinion, as well, as i don't care for reusing gags out of their original context. come on, man. there are ads everywhere in this show, and you choose now to complain? just because it's MS?

think before you post. and quit whining, for all or our sakes. discuss the importance of the matter, not that you hate ads. we all do, but at least the majority of us can actually accept that they're a necessary part of entertainment. money to make Family Guy has to come from somewhere, right? guess where? ADS.
