Jerry Seinfeld Goes Back to Mac

Earlier this year, it emerged that Microsoft was paying Jerry Seinfeld $10 million to appear in advertisements along side Bill Gates. Shortly before the "I'm a PC" series began airing, the company released two very confusing commercials starring Seinfeld and Gates. If you don't remember them, check them out below.

TUAW reports that in the latest episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Jerry Seinfeld is seen discussing ideas with Seinfeld creator Larry David. In the scene, a MacBook Pro is prominently shown on Jerry's desk. Not exactly surprising given the fact that when the Microsoft commercials aired, a lot of people pointed out that Macs have appeared in Jerry's apartment in Seinfeld before. That said, Microsoft probably still isn't pleased. I mean, they did give him ten million bucks to be in a commercial about nothing.

You might want to go back to 2005 then when Apple last sold one buttoned mice.

Love the Macbook Wheel vid, so funny.

Anyway, who cares about Jerry? I don't. If a superstar is using a mac (or PC), do I follow just because? hell no.

Who in their right mind is going to take IT advice from a half jewish, half scientologist comedian?
Serves MS right for paying 10 million bucks to a spokesperson who probably can't flush his browser cache.

If MS had any clue, they would be running ads showing 3-4 way SLI systems with liquid cooling kits running the Games for Windows titles. It's just retarded that they insist on focusing on the budget PC demographic.

One day Microsoft will figure out how to market their platform.
