Samsung Said To Soon Introduce 14.6-megapixel CMOS Image Sensor

Driven by attempts to grab a bigger market share in the digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera market, Samsung Electronics is said will introduce a 14.6-megapixel CMOS image sensor in June, possibly helping it to further close its gap with leading player OmniVision, according to industry sources. The sources indicated that Samsung will introduce a DSLR camera for sale in Taiwan in June.
