At first blush, the M1600A from Gigabyte looks more like a car radio and CD player than a multimedia player. What convinced us otherwise were the four-pin power connector and ATA interface on the back of the device.
In a nutshell, the M1600A is a DVD player, with the added capabilities of is MP3, CD and DVD playback, that can also operate without having to switch on the PC even though it is housed inside the PC case .
