Google Earth sports a an improved interface that will take first generation Earth users take some time to get used to - but is significantly more intuitive than previous software versions.

There's plenty left to do for Google, as higher resolutions are still missing for 80% of the earth's landmass. There are also several grades of high resolutions. For example, Florence, Italy, ...
... Moscow, Russia ...
... or Stonehenge in the UK are still somewhat blurry.
But Google Earth once again improved once again for anybody on the lookout for military sites. There's no doubt that the level of detail will lead to another round of discussion how far Google can take its Earth application.
