The base of the smaller of the two Nengtyi models measures 65 x 62 x 5 millimeters. With a height of 50 millimeters, this cooler turned out very compact. Only a simple clip is used in place of the practical triple clip used for the KN-02.
A modicum of care needs to be taken when mounting, as the screwdriver can easily slip sideways off this clip.
In other respects, the workmanship is beyond reproach. Although the KN01's cooling capabilities are somewhat weaker (die temperature = 63°C; thermal resistance = 0.57°C/W), it is wholly adequate for day-to-day running.
