We tested at common resolutions of 1024x768 (monitors and older LCDs), 1280x1024 (17" and 19" flat panelt) and 1600x1200 (20"+ displays). At 1024x768 resolution, we tested without anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering as well as with 4x AA and 8x AF settings. The other resolutions we did with these features enabled.
The highest-end cards GeForce 7950 GX2 and Quad-SLI setups only make sense if you go for 2048x1536 or 2560x1600 resolution. This requires large-size LCDs and kick-butt systems.
