MSI's GE600 Gaming Notebook Hits the U.S.
MSI today announced that the company's new GE600 gaming notebook is now available to customers in North America.
If Alienware's M11x gaming netbook just doesn't cut it with its 11.6-inch display, Core 2 Duo SU7300 (1.3GHz) CPU, and Nvidia GT335M GPU why don't you go for MSI's 16-inch GE600 which packs Intel's new Core i5 processor and an ATI Radeon 5730 graphics card for around the same money?
In addition to Core i5 and a Radeon 5730 graphics card, the GE600 boasts a 16-inch 1366×768 display, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive (7200rpm), a 6-cell battery, Bluetooth and Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
It's available today on Newegg with a price tag just shy of $900.

I think this one is a typo. It should be i5 instead. -
tweakbz It'd be great if whoever is a write for Tom's actually proof-reads their work before submitting.Reply
Pretty nice laptop, though. -

It's hard to proofread your own work. Everything you read is what came straight from your mind, and it sounds very home-ish to you. It's your writing, from your mind, and your subconscious barely detects anything amiss.
Now if someone else read the articles, however... -

Completely uninterested. :D
Though I still want a M11x (But with a much better CPU, GPU and LCD). -
MrHectorEric Only 1366x768 for a 16" screen? Might as well throw in an older GPU and cut the price because that resolution is an insult the the 5730. And -1 for a glossy highly reflective screen, I can't stand glossy monitors when gaming. Needs more RAM too.Reply -
feeddagoat do it still include the button to overclock on the fly? Im not talking about i5 increasing the CPU speed when cores are not active, but the button that "raises the TDP" style overclocking?Reply
