This should be a complete list of all the Athlon 64 processors that are available for Socket 939. (We did not include the Socket 754 versions or any Semprons, to keep the table from getting huge.) If you plan to purchase an Athlon 64 processor now we strongly recommend to go for the latest core(s). As mentioned before, these are the Venice with 512 kB L2 cache and San Diego with 1 MB. Both are energy efficient 90 nm models with SSE3 support. They get noticeably less hot than the 130 nm models and are far more overclockable, too.
