Noiseless Computing: New Case Innovation From Zalman

Totally No Noise Computing With The TNN 500A, Continued

Hard drives are another source of heat and noise within a computer chassis, as well. Zalman uses ten 5 mm heat pipes to cool the hard drive by natural convection. Additionally, Zalman uses four dampeners that are installed between the hard drive cooler and heat sink case to reduce noise and vibration.

A look from another angle at the inside of the TNN 500A.

The chassis of the TNN 500A provides a flexible mounting structure that can accommodate two 5.25" devices and five 3.5" devices. These devices do require a screwdriver for installation and de-installation, but the process is very simple and should not pose a technical problem for the average consumer.
