Las Vegas (NV) - Microsoft showed at CES a slightly upgraded fingerprint reader device that now comes with Windows Vista compatible software from Digital Persona. The device allows users to replace their passwords with their fingerprint.
Microsoft claims that the fingerprint reader "makes the user accounts in Windows Vista more convenient for individuals and families by eliminating the need to remember and type in account passwords when using features such as the new Parental Controls."

The device is available now for a suggested retail price of $40.
